Key events for industry professionals in 2012
27 January 2012
2012 will be a busy year at KCI, as staff gear up to no fewer than three shows being organised by various KCI brands.
Each show will provide a superb platform for professionals in the flow control or materials sectors.
The first event being put together by KCI is the innovative Duplex Seminar & Summit, scheduled for September 26th and 27th, in Stresa, Italy. "Clients tell us they are really excited by the new venue and format," enthused Sales Co-ordinator Elisa Hannan. "The Seminar & Summit will be an 'open source' event, where suppliers and users can discuss innovation and new applications for duplex stainless steels. The parallel Duplex Club Lounge and Duplex Exhibition will provide a relaxed environment, perfect for business-to-business networking."
The focus of attention will then shift to Houston in the USA, for the Stainless Steel World Americas Conference & Expo. "The Conference is geared to finding practical solutions to end-user challenges, so it is hardly surprising that materials experts are already noting 16th and 17th October in their agenda," said upbeat Product Group Manager Nicole Nagel. She added that the parallel Exhibition consistently attracts suppliers from throughout North America and further afield, who see the show as the ideal platform to reach customers throughout the Americas.
The final event in the KCI calendar - the Valve World Expo & Conference - takes place in Dusseldorf, Germany, from 27-29 November. "The last show broke records and the 2012 outing will be even bigger and better!" Sales Director Ladan Pourtork is clearly delighted that the floor space is already close to fully booked, and that visitor inquiries are flooding in from throughout the world. "This is the perfect venue for flow control professionals - end users, suppliers, contractors, etc - to share experiences, pick up valuable information and strengthen relationships."
